  • ACM Digital Library - A full-text database containing the publications of the Association for Computing Machinery.  Contains over 1 million pages of text.
  • Civil Engineering Database - An online index to the publications of the American Society of Civil Engineers.  Covers from 1970 - present.
  • Compendex - EI Village 2 -  Worldwide coverage of journal and conference publications in all areas of engineering.  References 5,000 journals and conferences dating from 1884.
  • Computer Science Index - An online database to academic and scholarly publications in the field of computer science.
  • IEEE Xplore - A database including the full-text of publications from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Institution of Electrical Engineers.
  • Materials Research Database with METADEX - A comprehensive index to publications in the areas of material science and materials engineering.
  • Science Direct - A searchable database including the full-text of journals from Elsevier.
  • SciFinder Scholar - A comprehensive index to the literature of chemistry and chemical engineering.  Indexes journals, conferences, reports, and patents.
  • Spartan Engineer  -  A student edited MSU magazine published from 1948 to 1972.  Articles were written primarily by engineering students about job opportunities in engineering and related campus events.
  • TRIS Online - A U.S. government sponsored database providing coverage of the transportation literature.  Provides comprehensive indexing to federal, state, and local government publications.  Also indexes the journal literature in the field.
  • U.S. Patent Database - Index to United States patents.  Includes the full-text of all patents starting with 1790.  Patents from 1976 are fully searchable.
  • Web of Science - An index to selected scholarly journals.  Supports keyword searching and citation searching.
