Coaching Science Abstracts

These abstracts interpret research articles for practicing coaches and others interested in applied sport science. They are drawn from the personal files of the senior editor. Some dated articles are included because their content is still current. Most articles are interpreted for coaches of elite athletes and programs. The contents are changed monthly and may or may not be thematic. Between six and eight issues per year will be provided. Olympic Review

The Olympic Review is the official publication of the International Olympic Committee. It has been published continuously, under different names, since the creation of the IOC in 1894. The Amateur Athletic Foundation, with the permission of the IOC, has undertaken a two-year project to convert past issues of Olympic Review, in both English and French, into digital format. When
finished, the project will have converted a 100-year run of the journal from the years 1894-1994.
