Sports Business Research Network
Current
Focuses on the Sporting Goods and Sports Marketing Industry; data includes consumer demographics, sports participation rates, online consumer buying patterns, sports attendance statistics, and international market surveys. SBRnet also offers full text access to several sports business trade journals. This resource is available for unlimited users, campus-wide and from remote locations.
Atlantes
1980-1996
Atlantes is the largest Spanish-language database in the world containing bibliographic information on sport, physical activity, and leisure. It includes bibliographic references contributed by some of the documentation centres and specialized libraries which form part of the Latin-American Network for Sports Documentation - Sportcom. Atlantes contains almost 7,000 citations and foresees a yearly increase of 1,500 records. These cover books, magazine articles, theses, research works, conferences proceedings and audiovisual products in the following areas: Sports, Sports science, Sports training , Sports administration, Sports legislation and organization, Sport for all, Physical education, Facilities and equipment, Sports medicine, Recreation, Bullfighting, Information and documentation. Heracles is the largest French-language database in the world containing bibliographic information on sport, physical activity, and leisure. It is provided by Sportdoc, an association of more than 15 sport and education organizations. Heracles contains over 50,000 citations and adds more than 4,000 each year. These cover periodicals, books, theses, conference proceedings, and audiovisual products in the following areas: Administration and regulation, biomechanics, facilities and equipment, physical education, physiological aspects, psychological aspects, sociological aspects, sport activities, sport history, sport pedagogy, sports medicine, and training. A U.S. national bibliographic database covering the journal and research literature in the field of education. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, ERIC blends two files: Resources in Education (RIE), covering the fugitive document literature, and Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE), covering the published journal literature from over 775 periodicals. The database also includes the full text of ERIC Digest records. These one- to two-page full-text records, targeted specifically to teachers, administrators, and other practitioners, provide an overview of information on a given topic and supply references with more detailed information. PsycInfo via ERL

Contains summaries of the world's journal literature, of dissertations and technical reports and of English-language chapters and books in psychology and related disciplines. Covers over 1300 journals in over 30 languages from approximately 50 countries. Also includes psychology articles from related disciplines such as sociology, linguistics, education, medicine, law, physiology, business, psychiatry, and anthropology.

Current
PubMed was developed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the National Library of Medicine (NLM), located at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). PubMed provides web access to bibliographic information, which is drawn primarily from MEDLINE, PreMEDLINE, HealthSTAR, as well as Publisher-Supplied citations. In addition, for electronically supplied journals that are indexed selectively for MEDLINE, and include articles unrelated to medicine or the life sciences, PubMed includes all articles from that journal, not just those that are included in MEDLINE. It is expected that access to additional NLM databases will be added in the future.
