Typescript, hand-lettered titles, illustrations, and decorative border mimeographed on individual leaves of grained white and brown papers and yellow rag paper. Endpapers and liner following second t.p. are white tissue paper. Stapled at left margin and glued to brown Kraft paper wrappers. Illustration on wrappers appears also on folded leaf inserted through slot in blank leaf preceding first t.p.. Decorated colored-paper cutouts are mounted on wrappers. Front wrapper has a moveable set of portraits on folded white paper, some with colored paper cutouts, mounted inside a wooden 'frame.' The book is tied horizontally with a heavy red cord with a decorated-paper 'padlock' on one end. Part of a collection of handmade books, most with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture.
