Poems, published for the first time in one volume. Part of a collection of handmade books, most with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture. Typescript with hand-lettered titles mimeographed on individual pages of white bond with mimeographed border; preliminaries, index, and colophon on a variety of grained papers; front endpaper is of sea blue tissue paper. Stapled and glued to brown paper wrappers, which are mounted with black tissue paper and illustrated with colored and decorated paper collages. Collage on front wrapper has moveable, folded-paper architectural column from which a portrait of the poet hangs by a hemp rope. The base of the column, folded behind the front wrapper, rises from a green paper pool of painted fish. This book has no cord for hanging. Publication information from colophon.
