Reproductions of typescript, decorative borders, and period photogravures and photographs (many portraits of the actress) on individual leaves of coarse brown and white bond papers, stapled at left margin, glued to brown paper wrappers, and tied with white cord. Black tissue-paper front flyleaves include a mounted reproduction of Bernhardt's autograph. Wrappers are covered with black tissue paper and illustrated with mounted, decorated paper cutouts. A wrung, heavy white paper tissue is mounted on front under a portrait of Bernhardt; background has some hand coloring. Part of a collection of handmade books, most with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture.
