Fletcher's Castoria

Advertisement for Fletcher's Castoria laxative includes a small comic strip entitled: "Professor kindly helps a young movie star." “Peggy,” obviously modeled on child star Shirley Temple, is out of sorts and refuses to participate in the filming of a movie. Her parents drive her home and speculate that she needs to take a laxative. As they get out of their car, they meet “The Professor” who counsels them to give “Peggy” child-friendly Fletcher's Castoria. In the final panel, “Peggy” has just given a performance that the people on the film set rave about. Also includes a photograph of a baby and a drawing of a “family size” box of Fletcher's Castoria.
