Life Savers
Advertisement for Life Savers hard candy includes a comic strip about “Unlucky Bill's” complaining to a female friend about frustrations with smoking as they put on ice skates. In the next panel the two skate as “Bill” continues his diatribe about smoking. In the third panel, “Bill” falls in an area marked “Danger” while the woman helps him up. She also recommends Life Savers to counter the side-effects of smoking. In the final panel, the two are indoors in front of a fire place. The woman, seated in an easy chair, offers Life Savers to “Bill” who is seated on a pillow covered stool. Also includes a drawings of a package of mint Life Savers and individual fruit Life Savers.
