Kolynos Dental Cream (Kolynos Company)

Advertisement for Kolynos Dental Cream includes the comic strip “How Sally Brown Got Her Man.” In the first panel “At the House Party” two men in tuxedo discuss “Sally Brown” who is seated. “Dick” is entranced by “Sally” and asks “Ed” to introduce her to him. “Ed” agrees but obliquely warns “Dick” about “Sally's” poor dental hygiene. The next panel, “Later That Evening,” “Sally” overhears “Dick” tell “Ed” that her unattractive yellow teeth could be improved by using Kolynos. In the “After the Dance” panel, lingerie-clad “Sally” and her friend “Betty” discuss the virtues of Kolynos. In the next panel “Sally” orders Kolynos from a pharmacist. The next three panels show “Sally’s teeth get whiter day by day. In the final panel “Later”, “Dick” tells a pleased “Sally” that her smile is now irresistible. Also includes drawing of a box of Kolynos and a free jigsaw puzzle that is redeemed with a coupon and a Kolynos box is mailed to the company.
