Changing heroes in the middle of the scene

A man (the "New Deal") is the director ("self-appointed director of world affairs") of a film. First, Finland is cast as the hero against Joseph Stalin. When Finland succeeds in beating Stalin, the director insists that Joseph Stalin is the new hero. By Garr Parrish.
