Palmolive Soap

Advertisement for Palmolive first shows the comic strip “Only 22 But on the Shelf” which depicts of a woman being depressed because she can’t get a date because of her dry “middle age” skin. A female friend suggests that she consult with “beauty expert Paul of Fifth Avenue.” Paul recommends that she use only Palmolive Soap. In a separate panel a there is a signed testimonial signed by Paul of Fifth Avenue. A photo of him is about the text. In the final panel the woman, wearing an evening gown, is dancing with a man while three other men try to cut in. All the men wear white dinner jackets, black bow ties, and black slacks. A photo next to the last panel shows the woman with a man in a white dinner jacket. He kisses her hand. There is a drawing the infant Dionne quintuplets and a package of Palmolive soap.
