Advertisement for Dreft by Procter & Gamble includes a photo comic strip praising the virtues of Dreft soap flakes. In the first panel, she phones a friend and invites her to see how well Dreft works on silk stockings. The second panel has the woman displaying cleaned silk stocking while the friend is amazed at the amount of Dreft’s soap suds. The final panel has the two women admiring a pair of Dreft-cleaned silk stockings. Also includes an image of a box of Dreft, and a drawing comparing between a Dreft box with two boxes of generic soap flakes.
