Hitler with the former crown prince

A smiling Chancellor Adolf Hitler looks fawningly at the former German Crown Prince, Wilhelm of Prussia, in front of the Garrison Church in Potsdam on March 21, 1933. Hitler wears a dark, two-piece suit. Wilhelm wears an elaborate fur hat and a great coat. Imperial Germany’s highest military medal, the Pour le Mérite, hangs from his collar. Behind the two are an SS trooper and a German police officer wearing the distinctive shako hat.
