Robert and Peggy in A Century of Progress : the Enchanted Island

Robert and Peggy visit the Enchanted Island, an amusment park exhibit at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair 'A Century of Progress International Exposition.' The illustration features a view a Ferris wheel, a train, a theatre, Magic Mountain, the Toy Town Tavern, and several giant characters from children's books, such as the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow, and the Nutcracker. A second illustration includes characters from children's fairy tales, such as Alice, the Hatter and the King of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Humpty Dumpty, and the old woman living in a shoe, the image is flanked by two clowns.
