Tree rings : Koehler as he explained to the jury
Arthur Koehler, wood technologist, re-enacts his testimony in the Charles Lindbergh Jr. kidnapping/murder trial. Koehler wears a three-piece suit. In his right hand he holds a ladder. In his left hand, he has a board. In front of him are a variety of tools and a tool kit. He explains the similarity between two boards of wood. The ladder was used by the kidnapper of the Lindbergh baby, son of the famed aviator Charles Lindbergh. The other piece of wood was found in the attic of Bruno Hauptmann who was convicted of the murder/kidnapping.
