Tragedy at Archangel : men of company I

Men of Company I of the U.S. Army's 339th Infantry Regiment pass in review at Archangel, Russia, on October 12, 1918. The formation is led by two officers. They all wear sidecaps (garrison caps), trench coats, boots, and puttees. The reviewing group is composed of officers from various nations with a strong Russian contingent.
