British subjects hail king and queen in silver jubilee : England's king and queen drive through cheering throngs
King George V and Queen Mary ride in the 1902 State Landau horse-drawn open carriage past Buckingham Palace. In front of the palace gate are rows of foot guardsmen in bear skin hats. Following the carriage are the Household cavalry. A row of foot guardsmen with fixed bayonets separate spectators from the procession route. Several spectators use periscopes or mirrors to view the scene.
