Tremont Hotel yielded to a parking lot

The Tremont Hotel, located at the corner of Lake and Dearborn streets in Chicago, Illinois, is destroyed for the addition of a parking lot. The hotel, built after the 1871 fire, was built on the site where an earlier hotel had stood.
