Herby reads a poster on a baseball stadium's fence. It announces free admission to anyone returning a ball hit out of the field. Herby and his dog Scraps watch a group of boys fight over a baseball that has just been hit out of the stadium. Scraps retrieves the ball brings it to Herby so he can be admitted into the ball park for free.
