A letter from Chicago to St. Louis : letters collected from the primary distribution units
One of twelve photographs showing the progress of a letter being mailed from Chicago to Missouri. Letters collected from the primary distribution units are placed in metal box containers and put onto a moving belt which delivers them to secondary distribution units.
