King Gustav
King Gustav V of Sweden, in the uniform of a Swedish admiral, visits the American cruiser, New Orleans, at Stockholm. He is preparing to inspect the ship’s marine guard which faces one of the ship’s five-inch cannons. Accompanying the king is a man in a top hat and frock coat, along with several naval officers, two of whom wear frock coats with full epaulets and side caps. Three enlisted American sailors salute the king. In the background are more sailors awaiting inspection.
