Damaging the house for the sake of a little discipline

Three cartoons criticize politicians for tolerating waste and inefficiency in the U.S. Navy. In the first, a bathtub labeled "U.S. Naval Waste and Inefficiency" overflows. A small boy in a sailor suit marked "Naval Authority" comes into the bathroom and remarks "O-O-GFF!" The second cartoon shows the "Naval Authority" boy running down stairs yelling "Oh Papa! Papa!" The final cartoon marked "American Security Household, shows a bespectacled older man labeled "Politicians" sitting in an easy chair and reading a book entitled ""How To Get Votes." At his feet is a newspaper with a headline "Political Outlook." The man chides the boy "KEEP QUIET! How many times do I have to tell you to stop yelling in this house? SIT DOWN AN' DRY UP!" " Naval Authority" boy apprehensively replies, "--But Papa, --Listen--N-N-N."
