The lone sufferer

A prision scene depicts a man in a striped convict's uniform (public) and shackled with a ball (high taxes to build & maintain bigger and better prisons) and chain as he uses a sledgehammer to pound rocks (increasing cost of our Judicial System, $, Public Suffering at the Hands of the Criminal, and expense of our criminal cases). Behind him is a line of convicts (crooks, burglars, murders, thugs), at the end of the line a prison guard carries a container with documents (pardons and paroles), besides him a woman wearing a sash (sympathy) holding several bouquets of flowers.
