Curing a hopeless cripple

One image depicts John Bull is seen wearing dark glasses and using crutches as he carries a large bag (war debts) on one side and another object. A man tries to convince Uncle Sam to "save England from being crushed." A second image shows Uncle Sam holding a sign that reads "Naval Disarmament" as he tells John Bull, "let me help you." When John Bull ditches the dark glasses and crutches and tries to run away, the large object in his right hand turns out to be a cannon (Naval Armament Burden).
