The dry standard

Mr. Dry (Anti-Saloon League) stands next to a large barrel of money (dry slush fund) holding a sign, "dry and dishonest." Behind him two men (crooked candidate and discredited politician) wait their turn to deposit money bags (dry support and campaign contribution). Several money bags (honorariums for Congressmen, for dry legislators, for dry Congressmen, donations from secret sources, gifts from big business, and mysterious money) can be seen inside the barrel and around it.
