"After you, my dear Gaston!"
In this political cartoon by Carey Orr, one man, "half the nations of Europe," points a gun, "armaments," at another man, "the other half of Europe," who also points a gun, "militarism," at the first man. They stand in front of a booth, "European disarmament," where a sign reads "check your guns here" and a person, "peace," hides behind the counter.
