Discarded by his labor constituents, Ramsay MacDonald
Ramsay MacDonald, Britain's first coalition premier since war days, takes a morning stroll through St. James Park with his daughter, Sheila. The photograph was taken shortly after he had planned a course of action that lost him the support of his Labor party constituents, hence the reason he looks so irritated in this photo.
