Reference Services
Reference Services provides reference and research assistance to students, faculty, and staff of MSU and community users. In-person assistance is available at the Reference Desk on the first floor of the Main Library near the north entrance. Librarians are also available through Text-A-Librarian, email, and 24/7 chat or IM services. Individuals who want one-on-one research assistance should contact the subject specialist in their area, or MSU students and faculty can make an appointment to meet with a librarian at the Main Library or the Brody or Hubbard Engagement Centers.
