Analyzing your data

Data analysis is the core of your research project. Analysis can be very simple to very complex depending on the data and research methodology. Previous lifecycle stages should have prepared you for analysis by choosing formats, short term storage, and a distribution method for your team to collaborate. It is a good idea to document your analysis methods.

Plan for it!

When planning for this stage in your data management plan, it is critical to describe how data analysis will be documented. This documentation may include workflow diagrams and code commentary similar to the data processing stage. The detail of description will depend on the complexity of analysis.
