Data Services
Michigan State University Library Data Services assists faculty, staff and students identify and access numeric data sets for secondary research analysis, primarily in the social sciences.
- Reference: Identifies and facilitates access to data sets and statistics within our library collection and from outside resources. Individual reference consultations are available by request.
- Instructional Support: The development of quantitative literacy is supported by instruction on data and statistical resources available through the library and on the Internet. In-class instruction and course specific research guides area available by request.
- Acquisitions: Recommendations for data set purchases are welcomed and will be pursued contingent upon our Data Collection Development Policy.
